God I hope they do this. I haven't been much of a fan of wikileaks so far, but I might become one if they can effectively hold media companies accountable to the truth they have abandoned. Or at least to ensure they don't knowingly print lies.
Why not a fan? It takes them going after mainstream media outlets for you to like them?
Don't know - it always seemed arrogant sharing and sensationalizing things that aren't theirs to share. I think it's ok for people and governments to have secrets, but not to straight lie to everyone. And I'm starting to notice how much the media lies with either the direct intention of causing damage or with no concern for the damage they cause. They have no integrity and it baffles me that no one has called them out for libel yet.
what is sensational about the truth?
The manstream media still makes sensational lies about Russia EVERY SINGLE DAY, but Wikileaks is sensational?
Really?
Just go to wikileaks and search one document about something that affects your life. And write an article about it here on steemit.
Then you can experience tha value of wikileaks and make a few pennies with the truth.
.. it may eventually turn you into a real journalist.
