So how much Wikileaks Really Made From Bitcoin?

On saturday 14th oct. Julian Assange drop this bombshell :

He claimed that being banned from the archaic funding channels had the adverse effect intented by the government. Being an early bird in the internet money brought him an astronomic ROI of 50000%, understand the value he received grew by a factor of 500!!! Huge!

Indeed with a quick lookup on Blockchain.info gives this info : 4025 BTC received more than $ 22,6 millions at today's price. Not bad, but bitcoin being open we also get this information :

Only 7.5 BTC left on the wallet, I wonder if the BTC received where kept or spent for operations? Let's dig into it!

One of the first thing to notice is that the bitcoin address used for donation hasn't change since 2011 according to the wayback machine

As you can see a lot of activities at the beggining in 2011 and 2012 a drop in volume compensated by the rise in price

If we focus on the year 2011, more than 2000 BTC have been donated to wikileaks, Assange claimed that he made 500x the initial sum. Maybe he was only speaking about 2011, that could amount to more than 12 millions usd!!! Is he planning to HODL, is it already spent ?
