Ever heard about Magic potions or brews ?
But what are they ?

Are they like in Harry Potter potions to make you vomit creatures ? Nope.
Are they explosive ? They could
Do they have an effect ? Of course

Potions include several ingredients to be effective :

• active elements, found in plants, minerals
• energy brought by the practitionner
• knowledge

Active elements :

All plants and minerals have active elements, those affect us. Some are good others are poisons.
In fact all of them could be good and all of them could be poison, the key is the concentration of those elements in the recipe.

Energy brought by practitionner

Energy is everywhere, brewing needs concentration and time, that energy isn't lost and will reinforce the potion.

Knowledge

You know it, I like that word and its meaning... If you don't have the right knowledge on plants, minerals and chemistry, you could brew some soda's or horribly tasting drinks or powders.

You could even intoxicate yourself, while thinking beeing busy with edible ingredients.

Before trying to brew or to create a potion or a powder, learn...
Read books, search the information anywhere you can find it.

It's better to loose some time studying than having an horrible night due to stomach ache, right ? :-)

What ? did I say some could explode, sure, I mean it ...
Never try to drop a piece of potassium in a glass of water, you would know what boom means :-)

Knowledge on ingredients, knowledge on proportions, and you can make almost everything you want.
but, sorry, no, I can't craft a potion to make a genius out of a brainless U.S. president for example :-)
