I Brought YouTube Over 10 MILLION Organic Views With this Video! Did They "Thank" Me?? Reward me?? Nope! They DEMONETIZED it! That's One Reason I'm Here on Steemit!!!

If you've ever taken a management class or attended a seminar aimed at sharpening your management skills, one of the VITAL thing's you'll learn is that employees LONG to be appreciated for a job well done. In fact, one of your most important responsibilities as a manager is making your employees feel TRULY valued; letting them know that, without them, your company, your department—and frankly, you—would be worse off.

You may be surprised to find that the desire to be appreciated even tops the desire for higher compensation! Don't get me wrong, people ALWAYS want to make more money for the time they invest, but being appreciated causes a deeper satisfaction which embeds itself into an employee and creates a loyalty to the company and to the company's management team that is absolutely PRICELESS! In other words, you could be making $27.00 an hour on a job where you're miserable, but your experience, overall well-being (and productivity) at the company is GREATLY enhanced if you're an employee who feels valued, needed and is often reminded that they are valued and needed - Even if you're not making what you feel you should be making. (of course there are limits to that)

That brings me to the point of this article...though YouTubers are NOT employees of Google, there is a contractual agreement for compensation when the YouTuber uploads content that ends up being consumed by the masses. When the YouTuber launches content that people respond positively to, he is compensated with Ad revenue. But when the latest "adpocalypse" happened, where YT ad revenue has been cut some 90% (I've personally been the recipient of an over 95% reduction in ad revenue) that "appreciation" YouTube once showed to the people who helped build their brand and their popularity completely disintegrated. YouTube stopped "having our backs." There are YouTubers with over 1 MILLION faithful subscribers who make less than a part time McDonald's employee! No exaggeration!

That's one of the main reasons I'm here. Producing videos (especially good quality videos) takes a LOT of time. You have the research, the script writing, the organizing, the editing, the reviewing, the launching....it takes a MASSIVE effort and a LOT of time; time that could be spent making a living doing something that actually pays you for the work you do. Heck...I'm human too. I need to earn a living in order to put a roof over me and my family, food on the table, cars to drive, gas in the tank...etc...etc.

Honestly, there is no incentive to invest time into something when there is no reward for all the hard work.

That's why I LOVE Steemit. It's a decentralized, reputation-based community that rewards a person for investing the time and energy into a project that positively impacts the people who consumed your content! Oh...and did I mention NO CENSORSHIP? I HATE censorship!

So, here's the DEMONETIZED video I produced that has over 10 MILLION views! I make absolutely ZERO money on this...but should have earned well over $30,000 by now (and that's on the low side).

Yes, it's controversial. If you enjoy it, consider resteeming, upvoting and commenting. Also think about following me if you would like to see more quality content. Peace!

Steemit and dtube will kill the private censorship groupthink data mining services, and it makes sense you're here before blockchain dismantles the biased power structure.

Upvoted, re$teemed & following!

Thanks for sharing... Love it.

YouTube seems to be doing everything in their power to drive away content creators. So many videos being flagged for demonetization lately. Time for platforms like Steem and LBRY to step up and fill the void that YouTube is forcefully creating.

We gotta get people off fbibook and censortube and get them to steemit and Dtube. I've been trying to spread the word but people just don't care or get it. I don't know what is wrong with people. I guess all you can do is try.
