Nice little junkyard just across the street

in #whysoserious7 years ago

There is a new little junkyard not far from my home and luckily, I can't see it from my balcony because of the bushes and pines. This "shame" lasts for 9 months and I hear that these days the problem will be solved. And it has to be, you can't open new beach just behind the junkyard.

So, how it came to this?

We had those four dumpsters for whole neighborhood and the place was approachable, so many people who weren't from here stopped to dump their large waste. The garbage truck came and picked up all of that every day and everything was cool. Then, we got dumpsters in front of our houses and those four dumpsters were left only for large waste. So, little truck comes every day and pick up our "everyday trash" and big truck comes once weekly for the large waste.

Then, in October 2016, works on the beach have started.

Beach was turned to big construction site and traffic through there was closed and still it is. The beach already supposed to be finished, but, like all in my country, the opening will be on June 25th, I suppose. That's the third time that they moved the date, so, nobody can say anymore.

And on that beautiful day, the road will be opened for a garbage truck to come and pick up the trash! I wonder why they didn't think about some faster solution and solved this problem before because, summer already began and many people already came. But also, if tourism is active only in summer, why we have to live like cattle for the rest of the year???
