It is not easy to get any idea for my "happy Easter" post with such full stomach as me at this moment.
So, Happy Easter and avoid overeating!
When a man eats too much, he becomes incapable for anything. I can hardly breathe and I've been through a guilty conscience because I remembered that the Easter is not about overeating. But customs of my people say different.
Just look down on the photo, I had all of this only for my breakfast this morning:
Many years ago, more people were going to Church than now. Much more. Especially on the night before Easter. People would bring the food for tomorrow in the basket for the blessings. In this times, only old ladies and men do that and the rest of the family only eat blessed food on the next day. People started to think if they eat more, they are blessed more. I don't want to think about what is connection between eggs and a rabbit (that's little sick), between Easter and a rabbit and between Easter and eggs!
And nobody even thinks about Christ's Resurrection. Hilarious!
HAPPY EASTER!
Thank you for posting @dumar022.
Yes....indeed...distractions abound. Truth is for thought....thinking. Food is for sustenance and stimulation. When we can prioritize these things...then are we able to have capacity for both.
The truth of Christ's salvation work on the cross....resurrection and victory over death....let us think on these things. Faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.
Religion is man by man's effort seeking the approbation of God.
Christianity is God seeking a relationship with man through the salvation work of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Wishing you and yours a very Happy Easter. ^_^
Appreciate the opportunity your post brought to think on these things.
Thank you for comment, @bleujay.
Your words are always encouraging! Happy Easter
Thank you for your reply @dumar022.
If one may be so bold as to state the obvious....you are a thinker. And that is encouraging to bleujay.
Easter Greetings to you and your lovely wife.
Too late. I think I ate a bit too much on Feaster Sunday.
