For the second part of my little series about Whisky & Music I remain in Ireland. With Jameson I have choosen the world's best known and also the most sold Irish Whiskey brand.

Für den zweiten Teil meiner kleinen Serie zu Whisky & Music bleibe ich erstmal in Irland. Als Whiskey habe ich mit Jameson die weltweit am bekanntesten und auch die am meist verkaufteste irische Whiskey-Marke ausgewählt.

JAMESON IRISH WHISKEY

The Story

Jameson was founded 1780 in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Till today the Jameson Whiskey is produced in a single distillery. It is a mixture of pot still whiskey made from malted and unmalted barley as well as finest Grain Whiskey. It is distilled three times.

That's how Ireland tastes!

But not only Whiskey from Dublin is world famous, regarding music some artists and bands outperform the publicity of whiskey. I would like to mention here especially The Dubliners, Thin Lizzy, Skid Row, Sinéad O'Connor and of course Bono with U2.

Jameson wurde 1780 in Dublin, der Hauptstadt von Irland gegründet. Bis heute wird der Jameson Whiskey in einer einzigen Destillerie hergestellt. Er ist eine Mischung aus Pot Still Whiskey aus gemälzter und ungemälzter Gerste sowie feinstem Grain Whiskey und wird dreifach destilliert.

So schmeckt Irland!

Aber nicht nur Whisky aus Dublin ist weltbekannt, im Bereich Musik übertreffen einige Musiker und Bands den Bekannheitsgrad des Whisky deutlich. Nennen möchte ich an dieser Stelle vor allem The Dubliners, Thin Lizzy, Skid Row, Sinéad O’Connor und natürlich Bono mit U2.
