My favorable birthday

Today’s challenge—my favorable birthday
I am not a person who remember important date like birthday or anniversary etc. not mention to
help parties for them. It might something related with my young age experience that we were poor. When grew up, we already get used to what we had before even though the economy got much better. We are all not prefer to celebrate the date in this more foreign way as we are sorts of old traditional Chinese people. I spent not much time at home with family no matter for schooling or working period. Any of my birthday was to pickup some closed home stay time with family members to have a good meal then.
If it is a must to pickup one of the memorable birthday, it would be the first year that I just got married. I just gave birth to my daughter within about one month that time, the horrible sleeping habit was killing me with day time and night time without fixed schedule. I was exhausted to being a new mom. One night, I was trying my best to comfort my girl to sleep, my husband came quiet and asked me down to first floor without saying anything. I was super angry on him not being helpful, while still asked me to do something I thought it was not important. He kept pushing me out to the hall in the first floor. Wow, it was a birthday cake on the desk which already sitting with my father / mother / sister in-law around. I was
still confused and get around my ahead very quickly: what is happening? “It is your birthday today” said by my husband. It was greatly unbelievable that he still remembered and also arranged for the celebration even though I already forgot it. I was so touched with tears in eyes. I would rather to give him a super hug,
but I was a shy person, I lighted up the candles, shared the cake to everyone and ate one of them with silence instead.
It is a pity that I still did not show too much appreciation to my husband after that, this is my bad. Till today, the peaceful life has make both of us get used to accept the advantage and weakness from each other. But the surprise at that time is still occupy an important place in my heart. Life is short, to cherish back the people who really care about you is a long & complicate lesson to learn & do,
but it still worth to have a try.
