Everyone more or less know the outcome but continue the rhythms.
That is sometimes good. At times people just for the sake of change or just for making it thrilling, vote against the good ruling govt and the outcome then gets counter-productive for the country and the countrymen. So if a ruling party is doing good, it should be pro-incumbency and should not be anti-incumbency.
On a side note, wherever the population is high, the election is always interesting by default.

Yes. Everything that is too much or extreme is not good. Too frequent change of leadership could mean both good and bad .
