Floods Still Affect Parts of Aceh

Since a few days ago, several cities and districts in Aceh province were still hit by floods because of the rain that had not stopped in the last few days. The main cause of flooding is due to the overflowing of river water so that water enters the settlements of residents who live around the overflowing river.

Where I live, namely in the city of Lhokseumawe, water still remembers the roads and residential areas at several points that are prone to flooding every year. The worst floods in Lhokseumawe occurred in Blang Mangat sub-district, namely in the Punteut area and its surroundings.

Until now, residents living in the Punteut area are still displaced at a higher place because their houses are still flooded, the cause of flooding there is due to the overflowing river and rice fields so that water enters residential areas of residents who live not far from the river area and rice fields.
