Bruno set a record in 45 minutes

Manchester United picked up Bruno Fernandes at Sporting Lisbon just under a year ago, and it's no understatement to call it a brilliant trade. The 26-year-old Portuguese has in 38 matches in all tournaments managed a total of 22 goals and 14 assists. Well placed as an offensive midfielder on the pitch.

He has become "The Red Devils" talisman, and he showed it once again this weekend. Fernandes started a rare time on the bench, but when United were behind 0-1 at the break, Ole Gunnar Solskjær put Fernandes on the field. They won 3-1, and the Portuguese was a big reason for that.

Since then, it has emerged that Fernandes in just 45 minutes managed to create eight chances in open play, and that is a record. The record for most chances created in open play in the Premier League before the match was at six, and was shared by Fernandes (against Newcastle), Reece James (against West Bromwich), Kevin de Bruyne (against Wolves) and Riyad Mahrez (against Burnley).
