Day 998: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: I am frustrated

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Not again! How can this happen again? Why is this happening to me again? Why? Why? Why?" screamed Alex while looking at his laptop screen. He got liquidated again. His whole wallet balance is gone.

Alex started trading futures a month ago... Every day and night he's glued to his laptop screen looking at the charts... No matter what his wife said he just couldn't take his eyes off the charts...

He couldn't eat properly nor sleep properly. This all started two months ago when he got laid off from his job because of the pandemic. He was searching for job or money making opportunity. And he came across this futures trading... He did some research and went all in... Yes, all in with his savings...

His wife had been trying to persuade him not to go all in... Go in with whatever he can afford to lose only... But he didn't listen... And his confidence shot up when he doubled his capital just after a week. So he didn't look back anymore...

But things had not gone in his favor from his second week onwards... The minute he entered his order, the direction will go the other way... getting further and further away from his exit price... This has been continuing for a month now... His emotion has become more and more unstable...

He couldn't think straight now... His temper has gone so bad that he almost beat his wife for no particular reason.

"I am so frustrated... Ahhhhhhhhhh..."

That's it for my more than 5 minutes freewrite. The moral of this story... No matter what kind of investment, we must always keep in mind that all investment there is risk. Never go all in... Only go in with whatever we can afford to lose... And one more important rule for trading... Don't let our emotion get into our head... Don't trade with emotion...
