A Samba Brazilian evening

So I was invited by a dear friend from German to meet up and have a quick catch up. It was a long due friendly meet up since we met each other before or during the lunar New year.

We decided to meet each other at the Avenue K at Ampang road. If you have no idea where that is, it's exactly right at the middle of Kuala Lumpur downtown of KLCC Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

Immediately after working hour, I rush through the heavy traffic, follow through the fastest route suggested by the GPS, but still I am late to be there. Decided to park at the KLCC instead of Avenue K, took a walk to get there.

We met at the 3rd floor of Avenue K, called the Samba Brazilian Steakhouse. The two hungry ghost sat in and immediately start whacking steak. However, I really enjoy the appetizers and some of the dory fish they cooked. I'm not saying the steak were not nice, I think for the first time in my life are so much of medium steak, and a few pieces of them even spill blood when I cut them. God bless me my stomach didn't upset!

We had some laughter and chatter for almost 3 hours until they start cleaning. It's better to leave before they kick us out. Still, no meal are considered complete without dessert. Grabbed some of these sweet stuff and throw them in before we go.

I took some of the night view by the balcony looking across the twin tower of the well known KLCC. And thanks to my German friend, the bill closed more than 300. Damn, for a moment I felt really bad about spending so much just for a dinner. I guess I will try to make something even bigger to return his favour next week on his birthday!

Last but not least, as I left the KLCC parking lot, the parking fee cost me 17 bucks. Seriously, owning a private parking space in Kuala Lumpur can be as lucrative as buying residential. Amazing...
