The Diary Game 10 July 2020:  Singapore General Election Day

Today is a special holiday as it is the 13th Singapore General Election Day. We as non voter also benefited from it as company declared holiday for all normal shift working employees.

I find election in Singapore also very convenient. Example many poling stations are arranged to be located just below the HDB blocks. Some of the voters don't even need to travel. Just take the lift go downstairs then can cast the vote at polling stations already.

Today is a good day as well. Whole day sunny and no rain at all. So not troubled voters to queue for voting.

As this election is conducted during the covid19 pandemic, they arranged the voting timing segregation between voters. Eg old folks in the morning. Younger one in the noon time n evening. And those serving stay home notice or sick are arranged to vote during 7 -8pm. And during this period, all polling stations officers will dress in additional PPE..

As an additional holiday to us, evening went to the nearby Bishan park for walk. It's indeed a beautiful day today ! Blue sky with greenery is simply just breathtakenly gorgeous !
