The Diary Game 23 Jun 2020: Flash flood and General Election

Initially I wanted to blog about this morning flash flood happened many places in Singapore. But another bigger announcement from the government that superceded this flash flood. So these 2 events will both mention in this post.

This morning was such a bad luck day that after alighting from the bus, super heavy downpour started and the distance from bus stop to company is not too far but due to too heavy rain , even I was with my umbrella was unable to cover much. Shoes became wet , jeans also get wet due to rain with wind.

As such the whole day need to bear with wet shoe and socks . @#$&*@.

In the evening 4pm, the PM Lee suddenly decided to give an urgent speech and announced he advise to the President for parliament dissolve to give way for next general election.

The next election fall on 10 July . On a Friday ! Hurray to us as non-voters, because if follows the last election which fall on weekday as well, one day of public holiday to be given to all, though not as a voter !

Upcoming election will be a special one as well as no rally permit to be issued to any party. Majority of the events will be conducted online. Let's see how it be done later.
