Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Very popular words. I have suffered much; preserve my life, O LORD, according to your word. Interesting that in this life anyone has suffered as much as Jesus and is willing to admit it.

Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law. Nothing but the truth! Even when we try and do the right thing, without sinning willfully, we take our lives in our own hands!

I meant to say before, life has martyrs; people who forewent better lives and better deaths in order to celebrate greater resurrections. Their very lives are the sweet incense in God's nostrils as the vapor of their lives ascend into heaven.
