Teenagers Under 16 Years Prohibited Using WhatsApp

WhatsApp will block users under the age of 16, exclusively for regions in Europe. It's based on WhatsApp's policy of minimum ordering of users from 13 years to 16 years to help learn new frequency data.
Users will be asked to confirm that they have 16 years and a privacy service within the next few weeks. Do not know how WhatsApp will actually check the user's age, considering they are collecting very limited data on their users.

Facebook, which has a separate data policy, uses data that differ between 13 and 15 years to collect data on the European Common Data Protection (GDPR). They are required to include a parent or guardian to grant them permission to share information on the platform.

Otherwise, they will not see a supported version of a supported social media platform personalized. But WhatsApp, which has more than 1.5 billion users in January through Facebook, does not issue new rights to collect personal information in agreements that have been made for the EU.

"Our goal is to explain how we use and protect the limited information we have about you," Facebook said, from the Independent on Thursday (26/4).

WhatsApp, founded in 2009, has benefited from the last few countries, because the messaging system has been end-to-end and plans to share more data with its parent, Facebook. Facebook itself is under the supervision of regulators and lawmakers around the world since the personal information season scandal used by Cambridge Analytica, which serves for a wider range of how to handle user data.

The steps are there for WhatsApp to change its policy to allow sharing of user's phone number and other information with Facebook, to help improve the product and more effectively the ads.
