First of all, thank you to @liewsc for organizing this contest of WHAT IF Challenge round 2. I didn't know about the round 1, too bad. But it's alright. Now I am joining this time. It's good that there are contest like this being organized, so that people will anticipate and join in the fun, for the sake of fun and togetherness. Anyway, the topic for this round 2 of WHAT IF is Cartoon Character.

So, my chosen cartoon character is Popeye The Sailorman.

Popeye the Sailorman is fictional character created by Elzie Crisler Segar. Popeye first appeared in the daily King Feature Comic Strip, Thimble Theatre on January 17, 1929. Later in some years, Max Fleischer adapted the Thimble Threater characters into Popeye the Sailorman cartoon shorts for Paramount Pictures

Popeye the Sailorman

Basically, Popeye is a character who gets his strength from eating a vegetable, which is spinach. Popeye, though lack of manner and uneducated, yet seems to displayed Sherlock Holmes-like investigative prowess by helping the police and the society solving crimes. What if Popeye becomes a farmer instead of a sailor?

Since Popeye's strength comes from eating spinach, why don't he just grow a spinach and any other vegetables? Who knows, maybe eating from other veggie such as lettuce, cabbage, potato, tomato, broccoli and etc,etc.. From eating other veggie,they might be giving him other kinds of special abilities as well?

By eating spinach, it will give Popeye the strength to do all the farming work all day long without feeling a sweat at all.. But, his doesn't have any knowledge on how to do farming at all, plus he's uneducated. Though, he has the Sherlock Holmes-like ability to solve crime, I don't think it will help him at all.

But, he has Olive Oyl, his girlfriend to help him do the reading on how to do farming. And Popeye doesn't give up easily. I think, most of his cartoon strip episodes, it all ended with Popeye winning a fight or solving the problem.
