Well, there are a few reasons:

It feels great to know that you are paying someone's bread with the business you created.
I don't take thinks for granted. I like to work for what I have.
I like keeping an eye in technical/ business aspects.
I am feeling useful in this world for creating something that people need or enjoy.
The list can go on :)
