What If....[Week 1]
Today, during my “me” time, I got to think about a suggestion @ackza made on discord about how the steem blockchain can be used for real good. So, I decided to create this space to help those willing to sacrifice for this platform to gather and share their great ideas. This space will be opened once every week to help the process.
Today, I want to start by sharing @ackza’s suggestion. It went like this;
What if,we were to get charitable organisations here on steemit and instead of them, giving away huge sums ,they could invest in steempower and then upvote or delegate their steempowers to other organisations or communities like @steemitghana ,@stach ,or @steemit-uenr so they can carry out their works on a much greater scale. Not only will they be helping the steem blockchain grow but they will be making money through curation rewards ,help these small setups also build their steempowers thus through the delegation, they(the small parties) can write posts it to show that they SP they’ve been given is being used as intended and that could also fetch some upvotes from other people on the platform as well.
There is a lot that this platform can offer but without the basic understanding of how things work here,progress is unattainable. I know this is doable but how do we get the attention of such people or organisations to see what we see?

I feel showing proof of work is a better way to start. And perhaps writing a proposal (an open letter) to the steemit community would be helpful as well.
I like your perspective. Let's do our best to implement that. I'd be glad if we could link up on discord and talk more about this.
It is absolutely possible and very practical especially since it would be a win-win situation. I'm pretty sure if you suggest it outright, and spell out the terms of engagement and agreement, you will be pleasantly surprised at people's responses.
Don't focus on the big guns only, remember that little drops of water make a mighty ocean. 50sp delegated from 20 people is 1000sp, 100sp from 20 people is 2000sp and so on.
Great add up dear. Little drops can make real difference. I will definitely keep that in mind.
