For new comers it is very deep to understand more about steemit especially the different standing ranks. However, it is very important to know what are these fishes means. As steemit grows, the number of members are growing so fast as well. We are all doing steemit for some reason, but the main purpose why we are here, is to EARN.

We can see those people who are earning big, hundred of dollars per post, a thousand of dollars per post or maybe more than that. Just imagine how these people earning that kind of amount? We are inspired of doing steemit because of those who have the results. You have to know that you can grow and become whales someday.

If you are a new users, probably you can enjoy cents of earnings per post but you have to know that there are people who can give you more than that by simply one single upvote. Those are called whales, giants and top earner possibly in steemit. To understand more about these fishes, why steemit have minnows, dolphins and whales? Lets understand these different fishes, their meaning, who are they and what are their standing in steemit community.

As far as we know, steemit is a free to join platform. However, if you really want to see the real earning you can invest for steem and convert it to steem power. Most of the Dolphins invested money for steem. Most of them invested for a steem power like 1000 or even more. Steem power will give you the ability to influence others. If you check the trending category of post, you can find whales in there. Whales has the higher value of influences, their votes worth it for minnows and dolphins, they are very important in the market as well. Whales accumulate 10,000 to 1,000,000 steem power and guess what, they are more than that.

Whales are earning $100, to $1000 per post according to their article submitted. To become whales, you have to focus on getting your steem power bigger as possible.
