Missed the airdrop, so lets watch a surf VID
Well after further research into the Whaleshares platform I've come to the realisation I was just under a month too late to claim the bitshares airdrop! This would have been an awesome boost and really got things going for my account, but instead it looks like we will be building from scratch. Will there be any more airdrops? Who knows - only time or the fortune teller down the road from me will tell!
But as the old dears like to say, theres no point crying over spilt milk.
In the meantime, i'm working on fitness, flexibility and just generally getting pumped to get back in the water. Here's probably my top surf film which ironically i got free with TRACKS (Australian Surf) magazine about 6 years ago:
Clay comes to stay features the insanely talented Clay Marzo, who has a really cool story just in general. Years ago he was sponsored by Quiksilver, and featured in a lot of the young guns tours and videos. But around 2013 they had a massive cull and dropped over half of their teams sponsorships. Still wanting to surf for a living, he opted for free surfing as a professional career over contests and was later picked up by SUPERBRAND.
Anyway the video is sick and features some north west oz slabs and point breaks. Check out the double up insider Clay gets on the second wave @ 11.30. Sooooooo effortless.
