5-0 Season... Recap!

This season was our team's best season since I started playing 5 years ago. We actually didn't get to play our last game because of weather, and we sadly can't make it up. It is fine though because 5-0 is still an amazing record, and I am proud to say we successfully won every game.

Our team didn't throw a lot this year, mainly because we have a run first offense this year. I would have liked to see us pass as much as we did last year, however it's okay because I know for a fact that we will pass more next year.

The funniest thing about our season was that we had 4 blowouts and 1 very close game but our last game should have been the hardest by far. In the blowouts I didn't play a whole lot because of how many touchdowns we had on returns. In 1 game we had 2 interceptions for a touchdowns, 1 punt return TD, and 3 kick return TD for a total of 6 defensive/special team touchdowns.

Our closest game was against Urbandale and it finished 14-12. It should have been more like 22-6 but we had 1 bad defensive play and 2 or 3 fumbles at the very end that made it interesting at the end of the game. That was a big win to get because it was our only loss last year.
