Altruistic Token Distribution 📦 Update
The Altruistic token (ALTT) was officially out 16 days ago and we did appreciate all that has been participating in the portfolio builder. There are some updates about the token distribution and we will like to pass the update to everyone.
The Altruistic Pool Update
The initial distribution has been reduced from 7,000,000 to 1,000,000. This will be the first phase of the distribution so that there will be a break.
The daily distribution will be 2000 tokens and will not be increased or decreased until the phase is over.
Each day at 7:00 GMT + 0, the next day's allotment of tokens will be transferred to the altruistic-pool account and any funds transferred after that time will be counted towards the next day.
The contributions for that day will be tallied and the tokens distributed to the people who contributed within 24 hours
If only one person participates in the day distribution, the person will gain 1000 Altruistic Token for even as little as 10 BTS, but the normal distribution formula will be applied if two or more people participated.
The minimum participation is 10 BTS or its equivalent with the other accepted currencies, any amount less than this will be taken as a donation.
Accepted coins to participate in this distribution event are:
WLS
SBD
Etherium
Bitcoin
- Altruistic Tokens will be distributed to the accounts that contributed to the pool, so make sure you transfer your contributions from the account you would like your tokens transferred to.
The pool account to send to is altruistic-poolon #Bitshares.
Invest in Altruistic Token
We are building this portfolio so that we can be able to get more whalestake to powerup and support whales on the whaleshares platform (other platforms like smoke, weku, steem will soon be included) and if you get the token, you will be helping the Altruistic to grow.
And by doing this, we will be able to apply for the listing of the Altruistic token as one of the whaletokens that can be used to reward your post.
Why should I buy ALTT? The token is to be a whaletoken. After we reach the desired stake for the account, you will be able to use the token to support your original posts which means you can reward your posts with altruistic account.
The reward will be more compared to now as we are building the stake for that purpose. If you get the token now, you will be getting more reward for yourself.
Formula for the Distribution
The formula for distribution still remains the same for fair distribution.
X = a * (b / c) X: Number of Altruistic Tokens distributed to a buyer
a: Number of BTS contributed by a buyer in the period
b: Total number of Altruistic Token available for distribution in the period
c: Total tokens contributed by all buyers in the period
As an example:
20 Altruistic Tokens are available during a period.
Matts contributes 4 BTS and John contributes 1 BTS during the period. The period ends.
As a total of 5 BTS were contributed for 20 Altruistic Tokens during the period.
------------------ 4 * 4 = 16
John will get: 1 * (20/5)
----------------- 1 * 4 = 4
