Living Large during Covid times - If you cannot go to the Restaurant, Bring the Restaurant to you :)
I just had this beautiful meal cooked by my biz partner's son - such a talent and only 18 years old...
I guess the saying goes that when you pursue something with a Passion, expect great outcomes ;)
To begin with, we have this appitizer of various cheese (fetta, truffle, cheddar etc..), ham and prosciutto
Then for the next course, we have this Bruschetta and Kingfish Carpaccio - yum!
Next is a bit of carbs, Prawn Pasta with such a generous serving of fried garlic to tie up this wonderful dish!
And for the mains, a well cooked Scotch Fillet Steak with roasted potatoes and brocollini
Such a treat!
And to round it off, a Chocolate Lava cake with toasted Marshmellows :)
I guess with all that 2020 threw at us, some have found their inner calling in being a Chef - all this was done in a home kitchen so it does make me wonder - we can certainly celebrate in the same way as what we do outside in restaurants but with Covid seeming to be around for the long haul, maybe we can have more such celebrations at home too.
