What would I do if I were a whale?

in #whaledream6 years ago (edited)

Good Day friends of Steemit, today I am writing to you as a participant in this great contest sponsored by @mermaidvampire which has organized this fantastic project.

**He himself talks about what he'd do if he were a whale?**

If i am sincere and without lying to them, my ego would go to my head first ("evil laughter"), then once that stage is over i would think about helping my Venezuelan friends and would start a community where we would not only help each other, but also bring steemit new users who bring quality and presence to this social network, The situation that all Venezuelans are going through in this great economic depression is a lie to no one, but even so we are looking for a thousand ways to bring sustenance to our homes and solve our problems, since we are fighting people.

And maybe we also have a little bit of guilt and responsibility for what's happening to us ( no one is perfect), but whoever hasn't screwed up once, twice or three, (laughs), but strange is that so many people ,screw up, what I want to tell you friends, is that many of us when we get here find ourselves lost and disoriented without a direction, we find an infinite number of songs and we also see so many good posts, and we say I don't have the quality to do something like this.

But no, don't say that, if you have it and are not aware of your capabilities, what you can achieve here, or what steemit can do for you.

That is why if I were a whale instead of sinking those who are small with big dreams, I would go to the rescue of those who are wrecking like small fish in search of a group or someone who can guide them in this great ocean, accompany them and make them feel at home.

Although not many of us like being at home (laughs), I would sincerely not only help my Venezuelan friends by making them aware that if they spend even one or two hours a day uploading quality content on this social network they will be rewarded not only with a vote but with money, even if it is not tangible money, is virtual money, but it is worth a lot in Venezuela so much that a Steem, at the time of publishing this post is worth about 6 million bolivars, a sum not very large but attractive for something that would not take you more time than you spend daily on other social networks such as Facebook or Instagram.

What we all really want in this social network, is to grow and help others and as always to bring our friends here, so that they are also rewarded, perhaps many of you get steemit for the money, but most of us stay for the friends, and that is the impact I would like to achieve if it were a whale.

I hope someday to be a fat, oily whale (laughs), not the kind of whale that small fish chase to get a vote or to be counted, but that whale that is a quality hunter who hunts those small fish to support them and make them grow.

Thank you very much friends I say goodbye today telling you or leaving you a little reflection.

In such a chaotic world a good deed doesn't make a big difference for the collective, but it does make a difference for the person you help, so smile and move on.

Sincerely, Julio Coronel..

I like that reflection you laid out at the end of your post. Good thinking.
