WhaleAnalytics reveals interesting facts about undervalued whales
I was reading through the steemit posts, when i stumbled upon the post of @jerrybanfield. He appealed to his readers to write some interesting research stories on the issues related to the whales on the steemit.
Compiling the answers to the questions asked by @jerrybanefield took lot of my time and this is where the idea of #whalesanalytics striked my mind.
Background of Project
@jerrybanfield mentioned about the https://steemwhales.com, where a lot of information about the wallets of steemit account holders is available. On the date of commencement of this project, i could download the details of 1100 account holders and found some interesting statistics.
The numbers were eyeopener. Estimated Dollar Value of the biggest 1100 accounts on 28.06.2017 was more than $297 Million.
I would be updating this page as i go developing the statistics and the analytics around the whales on the steemit.
Objectives of Project
This project is aimed at analysing the whales and would provide the insights into
- Undervalued Steemwhale accounts
- Whales which are selling their Steem Power
- Inactive whales
And much more......
I would keep updating this page as i deep dive into the data. I would try to automate the process of the analytics soon. Suggestions from the steemians are welcome
