I like that spiral effect on the last picture, adds a bit of surrealism to the photo, I mean can you imagine seeing that in person, you would be wondering where the whirlpool was coming from, and what was causing it, and where it would lead.

Why yes, not to far from the Cook Inlet.
Sometimes it has big waves and sometimes small.
That last photo is the rare northern vortex, it develops
within the great Alaskan triangle, somewhat like
the devil's triangle! This one tho formed from my edits ;-)
howdy again shasta! you mean you made that vortex just by using your online editing tools? That's pretty darn good!
Actually this vortex effect was made on
a old program I've had for ages :-)
