#wetwednesday - - Week 2

From the Mountains to the Sea

          Hello and welcome to my second week of wet wednesday. Here is my into link to #wetwednesday.

          Okay got that intro done pretty quick, so on with the show. This first picture is from 9-9-18 taken on our return from our Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center trip. It was a long day, and I have several post discussing the trip with pictures of course. This first picture is of Trail Lake, just pass the little town of Moose Pass on your way to Seward Alaska. It is a very easy pullout to pass by, so there is generally not a lot of people there. There are a few tent camping/picnic table areas available.

          There is just something magical about the Mountain Lakes versus the Valley Lakes. Don't get me wrong, I love all the reflective lakes, and the valley lakes can get some very nice reflections, but to sit and gaze out on the mountain lakes, the feeling of serenity is for me much more palpable.

          Homer, Alaska and the spit is another of the spots we like to visit on a pretty regular basis. It is a nice drive, can be a little rough at time with the road construction, and all the traffic, but most of the time it is still an enjoyable trip with lots of pullouts and places to take pictures at on the way down. I have done another post about the Homer Spit - - Wednesday Walk by @tatoodjay - - - End of the Road Homer, Alaska - - He has a nice tag and challenge, and a lot of great entries from all over the world so take a visit and see what walks people profiled this week.

          Along with being known as the end of the road, the Homer spit is also known as - - - Where the Land Meets the Sea - - - This is the view looking into Kachemak Bay toward the east.

I hope you enjoyed the two different views of water levels, each has their own special attraction, each unique in their own way, kind of like people we are all the same, yet we are all different.
