WeTrust is robbing their investors of their ETH

in #wetrust7 years ago (edited)

Every ICO I have participated in is 1 eth = 1 eth The 0% bonus for 1 ETH on the last day is significantly more than my 1 ETH with a 30% on the first day.

So what are you guys going to do with the 35$ difference? Pocket the profits?

@EVERY ONE
WeTrust is pocketing ETH profits from early investors. This is a huge concern that should be shared. Please do not let the other "investors" try to refute or down-talk/trend these concerns.
Please spread this all over social media - I have shared on Reddit, Twitter, and Steemit.
Please DO NOT STOP ASKING AND INQUIRING ABOUT THESE DETAILS.
PLEASE ASK ABOUT THE APPROPRIATE PAYOUT, 1 ETH = 1 ETH.
Dear WeTrust, 1 ETH does NOT equal .2 ETH.

If you want to have a friendly counter arguement, then please provide the benefits of this. If you cannot provide a benefit (except for the dev team profiting this extra ETH) then please do not refute, downtalk/trend these concerns.

AS AN INVESTOR, THIS IS A SERIOUS CONCERN.
There are many investors who are concerned, but are silenced because of other troll-like behavior. This SHOULD NOT BE PERMITABLE.. We have the absolute right to raise our concerns, and to ask about it, and to demand answers.
Thanks

Has anyone had a statement back from WeTrust? I haven't had any correspondence only that the crowdsale is over

We've gone through this already. Please see our rationale in the blog post "Crowdsale Update" which addresses the rise in Ether.

Can you at least answer this for me?

Why are early investors being punished?"

We understand and sympathize with participants who would want to see a change in distribution implemented, but we think this is not the right thing to do when taking into account all of the participants’ interests.

This is all they keep sharing, and they won't say anything about it.

Each time I have asked inside of the chatroom, the concern is flooded out. Admin finally came in, and just sent me that link and said to stop flooding.

I have asked @mivsam in slack at least twice now this -

"so what exactly was thought long and hard? That you guys want to pocket the ETH?
So let me get this straight,
The $15 eth I contributed on the first day with a 30% bonus only equals $15 eth (+30% of that value)
Let's say it's worth 15+4.5 = $19.5 worth of ETH/WeTrustCoin
So those who contributed on the last day, eth was $50
So that's now worth $50 ETH/WeTrustCoin so my 1 eth is literally less than 50% (HALF) the value of 1 eth contributed on the last day.
Is this correct, or am I not understanding?
Where is the other 50%+ of ETH/WeTrustCoin that I am missing?

Why should WE be punished for having an early and zealous start to take advantage of the 30%?
So can you answer this to me?
If not in the #general chat room

When making a decision, we need to take into account all of the relevant actors’ needs and interests. This includes the group of crowdsale participants, our escrows, and WeTrust itself.
The most important principle we follow, is that we should avoid — or failing that minimize — any rule changes to the sale once it has begun.

Even if we make such a change, it should not hurt any group of participants to benefit another, not even if it’s benefitting the majority. Why? Under a simplified model, suppose we’re making a change that awards 90% of participants 1 extra TRST each. That means that the remaining 10% lose 9 TRST(!) each. While this will make the majority of our users slightly happier, it would significantly hurt the minority. We don’t perceive this as being fair and will thus avoid any such proposal.
