World Wi-fi

in #wetoken6 years ago

This project provides wifi to everyone for free. Of course, the catch is you have to watch a commercial. This reminds me of NetZero we used to have for free internet. You would get the dial-up internet for free, but you had to have a banner on your pc at all times. I remember playing age of empires with the banner, it would always show up but it was semi-transparent, and I was quite happy that I was not seeing a full solid banner. Of course, money staying in my pocket made me a happy student.
Because this is a decentralized internet, you can sell your internet connection to other people. You share your bandwidth, the guy sharing your internet watches the ad, and the company selling the ad pays you the tokens. With this system, you can share your home internet, or your company internet, or whatever bandwidth you may have. If you are selling your bandwidth, it takes 30 seconds to set up your router settings and it is easy peasy. There is a risk for the people who share their bandwidth because the people who are getting the internet may be into some illegal stuff. However, because everything is on an immutable public ledger, in case of legal difficulties, it will not be difficult to prove that the person who purchased the internet was responsible. They have a referral program as well, so people sharing their internet can earn even more. The guests or people getting the free internet just have to watch a short video before connecting and it does not bother them after that. The hosts may have a regular income just from this, especially if their residential area is in a crowded place where a lot of people use this service from them, or from their referrals. There are no intermediaries and their own token, WeToken is used for all kinds of transactions. The token price right now is 0.1 USD per token, but it is expected to increase in price once it hits exchanges after the ICO ends.

Here is a short video explaining how this will all work out:

A lot of countries have limited bandwidth or they have capped internet or some other thing. Some people, even in developed countries are so poor they cannot purchase monthly internet. Of course, if they are so poor, why would the ad be useful right? Well, there is a product for everyone, even for the poorest of all. Here is an overview of the market and it is massive as there are 3.58 billion people using the internet as of this year and this number is expected to increase every year:

The team is experienced in these matters as they successfully worked on wifi ad business before. You can see all members Linkedin links and some of them even have their Facebook page links. The company has 14000 networks and more than a 100 franchise partners. Their projects Adrenta and Radius Wi-Fi already use this exact type of advertising. Their company has more than a 100 employees in more than 80 cities. This literally means that they already have an operating business and they are carrying this to the blockchain, to the trustless system of smart contracts. This has success written all over it.
