Is it possible to get to the weight you want?

So you’ve been thinking about getting to your perfect weight and want to look good but just can get to the goal. So before you say this not for me, consider anything you’ve ever done with success. You have some of those in your success bag and getting to your perfect weight is no different- you just have know how you’re gonna get there.

Get Your Head Right
First things first, get your head right. Get in the frame of mind to align with your goal! Think of how great you feel and look. Think about the new attire you want to buy yourself you’ve been wanting but just can’t get into. Think of what it will be worth to you when you reach that goal. Write it down and make it your daily mission to read this goal statement before you do anything every morning!

Come clean about what you eat!
What you eat makes a big difference. If you have been eating processed foods, fast food and candy or lots of sweets, well then this definitely working against your goal. Now I’m not saying to go into a diet or to do away with food you like. I’m trying to get you to eat some salads, fish, meat and vegetables. 80% of the time or as close as possible. You can't do it you say? Well, you can. The question is how bad you want this new body, look and feel. Besides, changing you eating habits will help you get healthy anyways! One big benefit is that you don't have to jump on a "diet" to get yourself going. Notice that I'm not trying to sell you shakes or any get thin quick scheme here. I'm just trying to tell you that you can rock that body all by yourself. Word of caution. Don't make the mistake to eat to many of these and that which you think are healthy for you. Eat balanced and eat well. Example, don't eat 5 bananas a day because you think they are healthy. They are but bananas are known to be high in sugar so it will be like eating a cake. That's what i mean when I say eat balanced. Due your homework and look up what you're eating. Don't get your information from one place, look up different sources but beyond that, make sure you understand that fresh is better than processed or canned. Always! So get eating healthy.

Burn some fat or tighten those muscles.
Now, I'm not sure if you're trying to get toned, gain muscle or get fit. Whichever the case, if you're not exercising, you're not helping your body burn those calories you're eating. The body was made for this and much more. Walk 30 to an hour a day, or run for 15, 20 minutes. Join a bootcamp if you want to see results fast and or jump-start your body. A bootcamp is great because it is a team effort and you are there to get it done. If you go to the gym, you better have commitment because you and only you will lead you do what you're there to do or just plain get bored. Or do this, do 5 to 10 pushups when you get up in the morning, 5 to 10 jumping jacks, 5-10 squats, 5-10 dumbbell curls, 5-10 sit ups and a 3 minute plank. Do the same at night before dinner. Look up some 15 minute work outs on YouTube and you'll be sure to find other ideas to get you going but a bootcamp, I highly recommend.

What next? Well, set up month, 2 month and 3 month goal. Write down what you will reward yourself with when you complete these goals. For example, if you're a beer drinker and love that beer. Don't drink beer for 3 months and keep that goal. At the end of the 3 months, enjoy yourself some beers. The feeling of having one after such hard work will be rewarding, I can assure you.
