Weekend Freewrite 4/14/18 (parts 1-3)

Gudrun, the mistress of the Keepers Club, turned to him and pointed her finger. Charlotte heard her say to Mr. Banson,
"you are too easy on the children. You must be firmer in order to get them to bid as told. Charlotte should not have been just sent away when you caught her."

Charlotte held her breath and walked silently away from the doorway. She had come back inside after talking with Kelly about the plan to get the last 5 kids out. She did not know that was what they called this place.

Mr. Banson replied," I am not easy on them. Charlotte was being nosy about her health. At least we know that now something may be changing with her."

"Ha! only thing changing is how much braver and bolder she is getting. I am keeping an eye on her. She is trouble, as is that little friend of hers. They are beginning to spend too much time at the fence, or have you not noticed that?"

"I pedaled out of the driveway, knowing that my only way was forward", said Mr Banson.

"What the heck does that mean!", said Gudrun. "Sometimes you speak a different language I have no idea where it comes from." At that she walked away.
Mr Banson wanted to flip her the bird but knew better. He walked out of the room behind her and saw Charlotte just round the corner to the rooms.

"Charlotte, come here please."

Charlotte stopped and turned around. "Yes, Mr. Banson? It isn't test time."

"I need to talk to you. get over here, now!"
She walked up to him and he grabbed her arm, squeezing tightly. "Ouch, that hurts."

He threw her into the chair and grabbed another to sit in from of her. "I am going to ask you some questions, and you better answer truthfully!"

All of a sudden there was noise, yelling and shouting coming from the hallway. Mr. Banson knocked over his chair when he stood up. He ran out the door and saw Gudrun running down the hallway, slamming open all the doors to the bedrooms.

"What is all the commotion? Gudrun, what is going on here?"

"The children", she yelled. "There are 6 children missing. Where are they? Mr. Banson, are there children left outside unattended?"

"No, I do not believe so. They should all be in their rooms reading till dinner." At that, he turned his head and saw Charlotte go ghost white. He turned around, slapped Charlotte and asked if she knew what was going on.

"I.. I.. I don't don't know what you mean Mr. Banson."

"For some reason I.....
....
Oh yikes! This does not sound good. Could it be the end of the escape plan? Charlotte has to do some fast talking.
