The first vehicle I bought with my own money was a 1942 Willys Jeep. Did manage to get it off road a number of times before the engine took on water crossing a river and later seized. Took may years before I could afford to get engine rebuilt. Still think of that first vehicle.

I had a few vehicles before getting my first 4x4 but once I'd gotten it I never looked back. I drove a Willys Jeep once, a restored one. Good fun.
