Weekend Recap - in GIFs
This was a fun weekend for our family, as we made the short trip to visit my wife’s parents who live a little over an hour away.
We headed out on Saturday morning, so the drive was quick with no traffic. We hung around for a bit, and then a family friend invited us over to check out an electric quad they wanted to give Jacob. Well, Jacob learned it very quickly and was soon driving it all over the place with me or my wife running after him... check him out on it:
He had a great time, and then we went and visited some grandparents who also live in the area. While we were catching up with them, Kendra took her first official steps! Check her out:
Of course, we have been practicing with her a lot and there have been many “fails”, but none as bad as this one:
On Sunday, we played around outside in the morning, chasing Jacob on the quad and then playing in the dirt. I was able to watch a little football, and we headed back home on Sunday afternoon.
It was a great, relaxing weekend. I needed it as last week was stressful at work, and this next week is expected to be a tough one as well.

I enjoy Jacob's driving. I think he also enjoyed it a lot. Kendra is so sweet, i appreciate your good decession to let her walk. Practice makes a man perfect as she is practicing to walk at a little age that's really great. I always wish your kids will be great.
