Weekend Recap

This weekend was a fun one for me and our family.

On Saturday morning, Jacob and I went over to my mom’s house (Grammie to Jacob) and Kendra and my wife joined a little later and only stayed for a little bit as Kendra is still a bit sick. We went out to breakfast at a diner as part of a small airport, so we got to enjoy the planes taking off and landing while we ate some good food! Here is a gif:

We then went back over to Grammies and helped put up and decorate her Christmas Tree. At nap time, we headed back home and spent the rest of the afternoon putting up a new TV we purchased and setting it up. We are planning to get rid of cable, so this a smart TV which uses different streaming services and apps to access the shows. We will see how it all goes, but hopefully we can get rid of cable and save some money.

On Sunday, Jacob and I went to Church (Kendra/wife stayed home due to Kendra’s illnesses) and then we did haircuts in the backyard. We hung around the house most of the day, and I caught a little football while Kendra napped in my arms on the couch.. that was a special treat! I snapped this pic of Jacob hanging out upside down trying to watch the iPad.. pretty silly!

That is about all we did this weekend. Nothing too crazy, but a lot of family time is good for the soul. I hope all my friends here had a good weekend as well!
