Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a nice weekend, and I hope each of you did as well.

This weekend we celebrated my wife’s birthday! On Saturday morning, I took the kids out to the store with me to pick up some decorations and food so that we could treat her to a nice day on Sunday. We then went over to a friend’s house in the afternoon whose child was turning 3, so the family had a fun time at that birthday party.

On Sunday, we went to church and then went out to lunch with some family to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had a good time, and had some good burgers at Red Robin. We then came home, and Jacob and I made chocolate chip cookies from scratch while my wife did some birthday shopping. Then we hung out the rest of the afternoon playing, and I made steak sandwiches with corn on the cob and zucchini for dinner. It was good, but I am exhausted after cooking all day and cleaning up after myself 😝
