Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a nice weekend and I hope each of you did as well.

On Friday night, we had a gift exchange with all the kids on our cul de sac, so it was the first presents Jacob and Kendra got to open related to Christmas - they were very excited of course! We had a good time hanging out with them all too.

On Saturday, we went to a friend’s house for breakfast and their kids and our kids played outside for a long time. We ended up eating so much and later than we thought, so we technically didn’t even have lunch. We came home for Kendra’s nap, and then my wife’s parents came over. Jacob, my father in law and I watched football and played around the house, while my wife, Kendra and mother in law went to a kid’s theatrical music performance of Frozen. Kendra loved it very much, and has not stopped talking about it sense then!

We gave in and let the kids open one present each on Sunday morning - they were very happy of course! We then went to church and had leftovers for lunch. Jacob and I went to the grocery store during Kendra’s nap and then went to a local park to play for a little bit. We played inside in the afternoon, and then the weekend was over :(
