This is one of the best descriptive pieces I have read from you! Nailed it. There is a great rhythm to it, especially in the first few paragraphs, and you capture youth very well. There's some lovely details in it that capture the time well. It's very funny. I was luckily never sold literal grass, but we had a secret supply and were guilty of mixing it with oregano to sell to the Melbourne boys when they came down in summer to the coast.
