How to Make Rosin Dabs at Home
There are many different ways of making dab concentrates, this method is by far the easiest and non-explosive way to make dabs at home.
Rosin dabs are a concentrated form of cannabis, which is made by extracting essential oils from the cannabis Bud, Hash, or Kief with heat and pressure. Rosin can be made safely and inexpensively in just a matter of minutes with normal everyday household tools. The difference between rosin and other concentrates is extraction does not require a solvent, Saving you from having to cook off chemicals like Butane.

Supplies you will need for Making Rosin Dabs

  A hair straightener (try to find one with a low setting of around 300 degrees or lower (Any hotter and you begin to lose terpenes to evaporation.)
 Starting Materials (cannabis bud, Hash, or kief)
Parchment Paper
Collection Tool (dabber tool)
Heat-Resistant Gloves (to avoid burns from the hair straightener)

Seven Simple Steps to Making Rosin Dabs

 Turn on your hair straighteners  – (preheat to 280-330F)
Use the scissors cut a small 4×4” piece of parchment paper
Fold the parchment paper in half and place your material in between the folded parchment paper.
 line the buds inside of the parchment paper together with your hair straightener. Press both sides of straightener together with as much pressure as possible for about 3-7 seconds.
Remove the piece of parchment from the hot surface. Peel the press bud from the paper
Grab your collection tool to collect the resin from the paper. This can be a very sticky process so be patient! If you’re making a large amount of resin, for each batch use a separate sheet of parchment paper.
Store your Dabs in a glass or silicone container.
