THCreativity / Stone & Humanisation Process

Packing a bowl, sitting back, watching stoner movies, enjoying THCreativity, and reading how the weed has inspired some of Filmmakers and how the pot plays an active role in their creative process to bring us the best stoner movies of THCinema, is one of the true pleasures in life.
The filmmaker Oliver Stone has created so many masterpieces during the course of his career. Some of his films have had trippy scenes, others actually included weed in them. But who would have thought the director himself had smoked it?
Weed Inspired Stone, influenced during the time he was making movies, and helped him avoid Beastly Behavior during his time in Vietnam, saving him from becoming someone that may have been unable to create such beauty in film later in life. He said:
When I was in Vietnam, Pot made the difference between being human and being a beast.

THC Humanized The Beastly Behavior
The two-time Oscar Winning director and producer graced the cover of the most recent issue of High Times Magazine. In his 2012 interview, Stone described getting busted during the War on Drugs for smuggling marijuana into the US. Stone explained:
I was facing five to 20 on a federal smuggling charge.

He spoke also about his own #Marijuana Use and how it helped him through serving in the Vietnam War, where he was twice wounded. He said:
"There were a lot of guys who were drinking and doing a lot of the killing that was so unnecessary and raping. The guys who did dope were much more conscious of the value of life."

Stone did admit to Smoking and said Marijuana "Humanized" Him. He explained:
I went to Vietnam, and I was there for a long time, pot made the difference between saying human or, as Michael Douglas said, becoming a beast. I’m telling you, it’s rough and a lot of people in that platoon used it, not on the front line but in the back, to stay in touch with themselves. So, I look at that time in my life as really much of a life-saver.

Stone & Weed
He has smoked great Marijuana All Over The World, from Vietnam and Thailand to Jamaica and South Sudan, but he says the best weed is made in the USA and that pot could be a huge growth industry for taxpayers if it were legalised. Stone said about His Experience With Marijuana:
I’ve found it very enlightening. Some people don’t—they find paranoia and worry. I think if you can control your mind, if you contain it, you can make marijuana be a friend, an ally.

Stone is taking yet another potentially controversial stance, this time in full support of marijuana. His Film Savages (Featuring a star-studded cast including Salma Hayek & John Travolta) tells the story of two marijuana growers who share a friend that is kidnapped, forcing them to confront a Mexican drug cartel in order to rescue her.

After narrowly avoiding jail time, Stone has continued to use the #Herb that almost sent him there. The Academy Award-winning Platoon Director, has stated:
Marijuana, as well as many other drugs, should be legalized and taxed and regulated by the states. It’s a great source of income. It should be sold like it is in liquor stores, and there should be no social stigma. It’s an insane hypocrisy.

Great man, great movie. My only disagreement is that I believe cannabis should not be regulated any more than tomatoes or parsley. The Government doesn’t need any more revenue. They need to be much smaller and stop wagging wars all over the planet.
HE LOOKED LIKE JOSH HEARTENED (IDK LAST NAME SPELLING) EHRN HE WAS IN THE SERVICE. GREAT POST! WEEDED AND TWEETED. LOLOLOO
