For me it is overwhelming, and because of my phobia at the heights I could not stay long on the roof of the building.
I do not have a fear of heights on tall buildings but I can relate as my wife has that fear and cant stand being on high places or looking down like your shots
Now I try to resist my sight a little because I have discovered that behind my fear I miss some beautiful views.
