First off I will say Rules were meant to be if not broken worked around, but I have t say in this case strictly speaking you didn't break any rules as I am not a fan of rules so I don't have any just guidelines :)
That said I am a believer the best walks are always yet he water and you got both a river and a cool fountain so in my mine a great walk :)
