Wednesday Walk "Snowbound" by Sunscape
The First Snow
The snow is just beginning to cover the ground and the wet snow is sticking to the Anise seed heads in the garden. I am glad I had picked most of the larger seeds the other day.
Green Onions
The green onions are bent over and pretty much done for now.
We were still adding composting materials to the second layer of the raised bed. Perhaps the snow will melt quickly and we can continue adding the leaves that had fallen under the snow.
Winter Wonderland
The heavy snow is causing all the branches on the evergreens to take a bow.
Sparrows on the Hemlock
The backyard has 10 inches of snow from our first snowfall of the year. I grabbed the camera to do a little walkabout, oh it was so cold but the snow was so pretty on all the bushes. Winter has arrived in my neck of the woods here in Western, New York. Have a wonderful day everyone.
#wednesdaywalk initiated by @tattoodjay encourages everyone to get out and about while sharing what they see. Enjoy the challenge!
Until next time, this is Sunscape...
Sun. Scape. Ing your day
We only get snow up on the mountains - something which we get in the car to go and visit... so have yet to experience the way you do!
This photo... deserves a post all on it's own!!!! It is a magnificent shot!
Thank you Jaynie, I am actually going to put this photo on Appics. You should check it out if you are not already posting there too. I love the snow, but, it can get tiring shoveling all of it out of the way. lol

Thank you, that is very sweet of you. Many Hugs to you!
We haven’t got any snow yet, but the firs snow can make for such a lovely winter wonderland as you show us here :)
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
I have plenty of snow to share if you want some. It certainly was a beautiful day and the birds were going crazy and I had the deer also come through today for some corn. Have a great day Jay.
Ohh NO I like seeing it in photos not so much out the window LOL
Congratulations!
