Wednesday Walk - Statues for Equality
This is my contribution to #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.
In this post I want to share some photos I took on 6th Ave in Manhattan, an amazing mini-gallery of 10 statues of remarkable and inspirational women living today.
The statues represent:
Jane Goodall
Cate Blanchett
Pink
Cheryl Strayed
Gabby Douglas
Janet Mock
Nicole Kidman
Tererai Trent
Oprah Winfrey
Tracy Caldwell Dyson
I love them all 🥰. If I must choose a favorite statue.... is Oprah.
Which one is your favorite? Statue and person? It is hard to choose, these women are all awesome. I totally applaud this initiative and exhibit. Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏
WOW these are so cool and first I heard of them
Hard to pick a favorite I will have to go and visit them and check them out myself :)
Trying to work out where that building is, is that not far from the Radio City Music Hall opposite Radio City, if so I may head there tomorrow
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
Between 51st and 52nd on 6th Ave.
Thanks I think I know where I will walk tomorrow mornings and thanks I needed some motivation ;)

Very interesting to see that Pink has made the list. However, I think that Ursula Rucker should have been included, too. 😁
This is a great initiative, thanks for showing it to us, @starjewel.
Love all of them!!
