Wednesday Walk at The Chicago Botanic Gardens
Caught these pics this last Sunday at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
It was on and off rainy that day which kept everything fresh and the clouds were nice and low.
Nice tunnel of tree blossoms (sneeze).
A hidden path between the bushes.
Some really bright flowering bushes.
A strange looking bronze statue that looks like bark.
This corpse flower bud was the whole reason i went to the garden. It might bloom at anytime. The bloom only lasts 36 hours and it stinks like rotten fish but it is a giant 7 ft tall flower that is super rare so maybe next sunday i can catch it blooming... @nikv
Happy #wednesdaywalk @tattoodjay

Fantastic photos of such a beautiful place. The statue looks indeed like wood.
I am curious about this giant bud if you can see it blooming. I am glad i am not nearby. I could not stand the smell.
