Hello, my dearest friends! Today I decided to participate in the contest from @tattoodjay called "Wednesday Walk".

Today I decided to take you to the Museum and show the Antiques that were once used by our great-grandparents in the distant 1900s of the last century.

We saw a lot of interesting household items, learned the old traditions of the life of the Kuban Cossacks.

Look at some of the exhibits closer and you.

I think it will be interesting too. This is a real loom on which canvases were woven in the old days.

And ha thus table hospitable masters guests, dined. All kitchen utensils and even an old kerosene lamp are real. They were brought to the Museum by the inhabitants of our region.

Here we saw a lot of household tools and high pitchers for storage of liquid products and milk. As well as a real Potter's wheel on which the master and did all this pottery and various kitchen utensils.

In the interior of the room was ancient agricultural tools, devices for combing the yarn and wool. Laundry facilities and a lot of different things that many of us saw for the first time.

It was very interesting to look at all these exhibits and listen to the guide who told the whole stories about each thing.

In this wooden oil mill once whipped milk and received oil, imagine what a time-consuming process. And today we do not even think about how difficult it was to live in those days...

In the next hall of the Museum we noticed an old cash Desk, which was located in one of the pharmacies, working at the beginning of the XX century.

However, an interesting exhibit.

But up close looks very new , all the keys of the cash already glittered and sparkled in the sun. This unique ancient object from our past is well preserved.

Even the furniture was in excellent condition. Perhaps these chairs once sat and the General Kornilov. Told that he lived some time in Krasnodar. And their last fatal wound the celebrated Russian army General Lavr Kornilov received possible.

March 31 ( old style - April 13 ) 1918 into the room, where he was General Kornilov, was hit by an artillery shell. It happened on the eve of the assault Ekaterinodar... (fortunately, the assault did not take place, and the volunteer army retreated).

A wonderful walk through the history of your region. I always enjoy seeing the old household items and imagining what it must have been like to make meals and take care of a family back in those days. It had to have been an all-consuming job.

Thank you for your attention, dear Melinda.
I myself love to learn the traditions and customs of the Cossacks.

Sometimes it is very interesting to consider rare things and learn their purpose :-)

It is always good to know our history and learn about the people who came before us!
