Wednesday Walk - Make Me Smile - Sun Rises and Sets as the Moon Rises and Sets...
I am loving these shorter days for I am catching more sunrises and sunsets and this last while, the moon has also been rising with the setting sun and setting with the rising sun!
It would be hard to tell which is the sun rise and which is the sun set from photos (unless you knew what direction it was in) for they were both equally spectacular!
Shall we have a look...

When looking in the other direction I saw the moon getting ready to set behind the tree tops on the horizon.

For our afternoon walk up on the hill top, we are greeted with a lovely pink tinge in the trees and snow.

Then the magic begins as the sun hits the horizon!

Again, looking in the other direction, there was the moon rising up in the sky...

As the sky begins to darken the sunset becomes more brilliant!

I tell you it is marvelous to stand in awe and wonder under the brilliant skies and I hope I was able to convey some of that awesomeness through my photos, perhaps even inspire you to get out and catch the rising and setting sun in all it's glory!
The one draw back to the short days is when I go into work I am leaving in the dark and coming home in the dark too!
Luckily I have my sun room set up with grow lights - my beacon in the dark ( and what saves me from S.A.D. syndrome!)

I think that pink tinge on treetops at this time of year as sunset nears is one of my favorite things in the world. I feast my eyes.

I can say wh9ch are sunrises or sunsets but they are all beautiful, I actually prefer the longer days I havent caught a sunrise since it cooled down here and we dont even have snow yet lOl
