I must say I like that fountain covered with icicles. Here the fountains are shut in winter for the same reason you mentioned. But the image with running water and icicles looks great.
Ye most here are closed but they keep this one open and its cool to see I make a point to go se eit every year although this year i missed it at peak of icicles
