Winter's here. There are more leaves on the ground than on the trees and the sun is low in the sky. We're just a couple days shy of Christmas and New Year's and all that that entails. I'm looking forward to having time off work; I'm looking forward to slacking off and doing nothing for a few days.
This morning's walk took me around the back-end of campus. The practice fields are empty at this time of the morning, save for a few dedicated students getting in a run before classes start.
This university is primarily an agricultural one, and there are more greenhouses and their attendant labs than any other kind of lab on campus, but even they are shut down for winter. They'll be more lively come January when the students have new projects to work on.
I hadn't known that there's a tea-ceremony clubhouse / classroom on campus. I guess I need to find out if they have tastings. I hope they do.
That's it for this week.
Thanks for reading.
